Since this is the product's job, it gets a 5/5 on that score, but it does have a few cons as wellġ. My partner and I have found Bitdefender Internet Security to be a very effective product for detecting viruses and other nasties from the internet and have been using this product for around five years. I have seen a few reviews on this topic in here, about product range being confusing, and issues with auto-renewal. I'm not really a friendly guy who comes to ads but purchased something that is over $100/y and there are custom ads showing in your windows! IMAGINE VERY DISAPPOINTING.īesides, all the ads will pop up in your windows (Buy VPN not it's on sale) FFS. I purchased it for the best, not for a crappy product. It slows your PC down especially when starting up, I did research online and all the marketing strategies they did said Bitdefender was the best. Looks, like it's not a beast in this current day but it's a decent system. I'm having an i7 8700k, 2TB M2 SSD and 32GB Rams. WHY? I'm so angry at this fken asshole design!! These companies are fken illegal. Read more d to click and remove but It didn't let me. Look at the picture I attached, I went into the step where I just nee. Why would they want or why would you want your bank card to stay online? But it's not only that because my subscription is associated with 1 product, so I cannot remove my Bank Card from that subsite, they called it "secure.2co". it's more than 10 steps to actually enter the place where you can actually manage the subscription. Once you buy the subscription, they will make it so hard for you to cancel. It makes me wonder just how dysfunctional this company may be behind the scenes. Its such a pity my wanting to retain control of my finances has lend me to encounter bad customer service systems. I've spent over a hour trying to get this auto payment removal done.finally after my 3rd try I have successfully turned off autorenewal in (2Checkout). I've had to remove all funds from the attached credit card until I'm happy auto renewal really is turned off. The process to switch off autorenewal is very convoluted and in my case several attempts to turn it off did not succeed. Read more to a 3rd party payments processing interface (2Checkout). They have also hidden or removed the "manage my payments" from Bitdefender Central forcing you to seek help, that then should trigger them to send you a link. Bitdefender is obviously a desperate and money hungry company that deliberately switched on my subscription autorenewal despite my unselecting it (as I do with all my software subscriptions, I prefer to manually select the day I pay). Only slightly less irritating that Norton's in regards to constant messaging. Good security if you don't mind the repeated product upselling with pop up ads.
